NICKNAME(S): Jack, Jackie, JC, Cindy [prefers Jackie and absolutely hates Cindy]
AGE: 17
GENDER: Female
SEXUAL ORIENTATION: Straight
SPECIES: Human
COVEN/PACK/NOMAD: noneee
DIET: Human food – but she’s a vegetarian
SPECIAL POWER: none
The Looks
HAIR: Thick, medium length and dark brown
EYES: Dark brown
HEIGHT: 5’4”
WEIGHT: 119 lbs.
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES: Her ears are pierced twice in each lobe and once in her left cartilage. She has a tattoo of a blue and green swallow that she doesn’t show anyone.
OVERALL APPEARANCE: Jacinda looks like one of those girls. You know one of those pretty girls. Okay so she’s not like super model gorgeous which is probably a good thing because that is the last thing she wants to be. Don’t even get her started on super modeling. Anyway she’s no super model but she’s ‘got some good looks’ according to her mom. Jackie, as she prefers to be called, has her mother’s eyes so you see her mother is biased. Her big, dark brown eyes have this warm welcoming feel to them. Her hair matches her eyed in the same dark brown color as it falls just past her shoulder in a layered wavy look. She has a light skin tone with barely visible freckles spread across her face. Then there’s her big, bright smile which would be her favorite feature if she had to pick. So she’s got the looks, not that she cares. There’s more important things to someone then their looks.
Jackie has slender body with a little athleticness to it. She’s not by any means an athlete; she swims and sometimes runs to work out her frustration. Beyond that she doesn’t have any other athletic abilities. She can’t play football, she’s awful at tennis, and you’d probably die laughing if you watched her play volleyball. No, Jackie is one of those artistic independent types which become pretty apparent in her style of clothing. She doesn’t wear Hollister or Abercrombie. Her clothes don’t consist of this season latest trends. And sometimes she gets some looks, but she wears what she feels comfortable in. Jackie loves shopping at thrift shops and department stores. Her clothes have these strange artsy boho look that she somehow manages to pull off.

The Personality
STRENGTHS: Honest, Independent, Passionate ,Confident
WEAKNESSES: Mistrusting, Stubborn, Easily Annoyed
FEARS: Afraid of Love, One day meeting her father, moving before she finishes her senior year
SECRETS: Wants to find love but is afraid of it, Is tired of her mother’s adventures, Has this ideal mental image of her father and believes that meeting him will ruin it
OVERALL PERSONALITY: Jacinda Orians sometimes gives off the impression of being a good girl. She’s has the good girl looks, those big eyes and the big smile, and if you had just met her you might think she has that good girl personality. And though she’s not what you consider a ‘bad girl’, she doesn’t actually have that good girl persona either. She is just Jackie. And like most teenagers Jackie can be a little complicated.
Generally, Jackie is a nice girl. She’s not one of those super nice or super friendly types, though she’s not just going to blow you off either. She’ll greet you with a smile and talk for as long as you want on just about anything. But she has a hard time trusting people so she’s just not going to be your friend. She likes talking to others; she’s just not that into making friends. There really isn’t a point when you move as often as she does. Making friends means caring about someone and caring eventually leads to trusting them. Jackie has learned many times that when you care about and trust someone you only end up hurt. People never stick around in Jackie’s life. They always come and they always go; few hardly ever stay. After enough people she trusted just up and left, she stopped being so trusting. So she found it was easier not to form bonds and friendships with other people. That way she didn’t get hurt over and over again like she has before.
So Jackie doesn’t have friends, not any. She likes to see the people she does talk to as acquaintances, if she sees them as anything at all. But acquaintances or not, Jackie will be honest with you. Jackie believes completely in honesty. She’ll be honest with you and she expects you to be honest with her. In her eyes lies, no matter how big or small, will end hurting someone either now or later.
Without friends, Jackie became very independent. She does things on her own in her own way. Jackie doesn’t need or want anyone to take care of her. She likes being in control of her life and making her decisions. She also grew very passionate as it gave her things to do and became a big part of who she is. Her first passion is art, painting to be specific. Second is her guitar. Jackie believes animals are no less important than people and should be treated accordingly. She whole heartedly believes eating animals is wrong and people that wear real legit fur are horrible people and should be arrested. With time Jackie came to believe in herself. Her confidence gives her the ability to stand up for herself and what she is passionate about while her stubbornness kept her from being easily swayed from her beliefs. She doesn’t care what other think about her. She knows who she is and she’s comfortable in her own skin. There is one thing she refuses to do in front of anyone; she refuses to sing for people.
Watching her mother fall in and out of love repeatedly over the years just to end up hurt, had a big effect on Jack as well. In fact the idea of love absolutely terrifies her. To her, love only ends and pain and tears. And she doesn’t want to go through that. Jack has been let down and hurt in the past and she wants it to stop. Anytime someone mentions the word love, Jackie goes running before things go any farther. If you don’t fall in love, you can’t get hurt right?

The History
DATE OF BIRTH: May 17th, 1993
PLACE OF BIRTH: New York City, New York
CURRENT HOME: Moving to Forks, Washington
IMPORTANT PEOPLE: Maggie Orians (Mother), Cody Harris(Younger brother)
FULL LENGTH HISTORY:
There isn’t a some wonderful fairytale about how her parents met. Jacinda’s mom won’t talk about what really happened all those years ago. The only things Jackie knows are the bits and pieces she’s managed to get for the years. Maggie, her mom, was still in high school and her father was just a little older. Her mother went to a club one night where she met a man Jackie only knows as Danny. Danny was a singer and his band was performing that night. Maggie and Danny met shortly after the show and spent the night together. ‘He had the whole rock star thing going on,’ her mother would say. However the two never saw each other after that night. When Maggie told Danny she was pregnant, he made no effort to be a part of Maggie’s or the baby’s life. The last time Maggie saw Danny she was 4 months pregnant.
Maggie and her baby girl lived in her parent’s house in New York City for a year. During that year Maggie got a job in a little diner where she met a man that would soon become her first love. His name was Brock. Brock was a mechanic that ate lunch in the diner every week day in hopes to get the attention of Maggie. They dated happily for a year. At first Brock was unsure of baby Jacinda but he grew to love her. And the three of them were happy for a while. Three days before Jacinda’s first birthday Maggie and Brock learned that Maggie was pregnant again.
At first Brock didn’t want Maggie to have the baby. He knew he wasn’t ready to be a dad, not a real dad. But Maggie refused his request. Brock, at a loss, knew he would have to try his best to help Maggie and be a father to baby Cody. It proved to be more then the mechanic could handle. Cody was six months old when Brock packed his things and left Maggie and the babies behind. Maggie was heartbroken by her love’s sudden departure and found herself in a need for change. She too packed her things and the family of three moved out west to Montana to start their new adventure.
Jackie, the nickname her mother gave her, adored Montana. She loved the outdoors and the animals. Maggie felt that Montana was a nice place to start over with her little family. She used this fresh start to focus on her family. They lived in Montana for five years before Maggie met another man. The two dated for six months before he called it quits. Maggie, once again heartbroken, packed up her children and left Montana to start another adventure. They settled down in North Carolina, where Jackie started kindergarten. Her mother began to feel hopeless when it came to love. She wondered if she’d ever find true love. It wouldn’t be long before Maggie would pack up her family and start another adventure.
In the next seven years they moved, in total, six times. Each move was brought on by a “brokenhearted” Maggie. They lived all over the United States. From North Carolina they went to Florida, to Ohio, to Arizona, to Oregon, to California and finally to New Jersey. Sometimes they were only in one place for a couple months. Sometimes it was a little over a year. Jackie didn’t like leaving her friends but she like their little adventures for a while. Jacinda and Cody had bounced between home school and public school making it difficult to make friends and really get an stead education. In some schools they were ahead and others they were behind.
Jackie was 14 when they settled down in New Jersey. She had grown tired of her mother’s adventures. It didn’t take long for Jackie to realize that these “adventures” were her mother’s way of running away. But what Maggie didn’t realize the effect this constant movement had on her kids. Jackie stopped making friends when she did go to school and she stopped unpacking her things when they moved into a new house. What was the point, right? They’d be off on another adventure in a few months anyway. She started having troubles trusting people. Except for her brother and mother, everyone she had ever known walked out of her life. All the friends she had made and no one ever called, ever emailed. None of them cared. None of them stuck around. In her loneliness, she grew a little angrier with every move. Her temper got shorter. She wasn’t afraid to start fights with her mother anymore. In fact, they happened quite often.
But Jackie had hope for New Jersey. It was so close to their home. Maybe, just maybe this would be their last stop. Maybe her mother would stop being so desperate and going out with the guys that never stuck around. For a while she thought her hopes had come true. Jackie and Cody went to public school. Jackie started high school though she didn’t make any friends. No one talked to her and she didn’t attempt to talk to anyone. And her mother didn’t mention any guys. She thought things were going to work out the way she wanted. It took about six months but she finally decided to unpack her room. At the one year mark it looked like they might actually be staying.
At least that’s what she thought until Brock Harris showed up at their apartment. He wanted to meet his son and to see Maggie again. Jackie wasn’t sure of Brock. She didn’t remember him, but she didn’t need to. He had left and suddenly he wanted to come back thirteen years later. She didn’t understand, but she learned that most people don’t change. But her mother. Oh her mother wanted him back. She still loved him. Maggie assured her daughter it would be different now. He wouldn’t leave again and the four of them would be a family. But Jackie had her doubts.
Everything was rocky at first. Jackie didn’t make an effort to get close to Brock. She rarely talked with him and short when she did. Brock thought that giving her his own nickname for her would change her mind so he started calling her Jack to shorten Jackie. The nickname didn’t bother her, she kind of liked it, but it didn’t change her mind. Soon Cody and her mother also started calling her Jack. Cody was thrilled to have his father back in his life. They spent time everyday together. Cody grew to love his father and they had a relationship that Jackie was envious of. She began to dream up this ideal image of her own father: Danny the rock star. With time they became the closest thing to a family that Jackie had ever had. She even started to like Brock.
Their little family lasted longer than Jackie expected. It was two years before things got shaky. Maggie became persistent on getting married and Brock… well he felt trapped, confined, restricted. So he did what he knew and he left. A couple months into her senior year, not without yelling, tears, and arguing, Jackie and her family packed up once again and headed out on another of her mother’s “adventures”. At 17, she moved to Forks, Washington. Why her mother picked Forks, she would probably never know. There was nothing there as far as she could figure. And now she was stuck there.
