FULL LENGTH HISTORY:
In the year of 1860 in the great and vast New York City, Lewis was born to Mary Devauge and Devin Devauge who were rich socialites. His mother, Mary, had English royalty in her blood, his father, Devin, was a well-known business man, climbed his way to the top of the social structure. At a young age his parents had tutors of all subjects available to him for his education. Most subjects, Lewis would study with great curiosity, mostly the subjects of language, arts, literature, and history. He would easily flunk the more practical subjects dealing with business, law, science, math, the logical subjects. He would continuously fail the subjects to the endless fury of his father, who threatened to ship him off if his grades didn’t meet to his father’s standards.
As Lewis grew, he also grew a wild personality. He longed to be something other than the man his parents were trying to shape him into. He found out he had a natural talent for acting, and excelled greatly in this art, greedily studying scripts, the necessary emotional calmness, overcoming fears. To him, acting was not a career, but a passion. Acting was his chosen profession, much to the disappointment of his parents.
On one particular evening, Lewis had joined some friends for a night of celebrating of his recent success at the theater. Not coming home at the time he was supposed to be home, his father furious with his supposed deliberate disobedience, had police track him down and bring him home at once. His father was a rather uptight, very strict person, ruling with a firm hand. He could not stand anymore of Lewis’ disobedience, disinherited him, and shipped him off to his god father in Manhattan.
His god father Dylan Chaucer didn’t do much to tame his god son’s wild personality, rather he offered Lewis the resources he needs to become a great actor. Dylan was the father Lewis always wanted, Dylan taught Lewis more life practical skills, rather than career or ‘money’ practical skills. Overtime Lewis’ wild personality tamed down a bit, to a point where he got in less trouble with the police. Dylan let his god son grow on his own, rather than doing what his best friend had done, he didn’t smother Lewis or try and shape him into the person Lewis’ parents wanted him to be. Dylan and Lewis had a strong bond, and after just a year of him being with his god father, Lewis’ changed his name to Chaucer.
They spent a good few years bonding before tragedy struck. Dylan had fallen into a terrible sickness of tuberculosis, weeks passed of endless suffering on both ends. Lewis began to grow reckless again, seeing what was a big part of his life dying slowly and painfully. Finally his god father’s endless suffering ended, as he was dying, Dylan told Lewis to never lose hope, don’t give up on yourself or anyone, no matter how weak they may seem. With that Lewis’ father figure passed on. Lewis was grief stricken, he quickly threw aside all his control and let loose the pain that built up inside of him in the weeks before his god father died.
Lewis felt like a ticking time bomb, destroying the only home he knew. All the rage and grief and pain, a mix of emotions poured out of him. Hours of relentless destruction, breaking the furniture, smashing the china, ripping up the curtains, smashing windows. Lewis toppled over china cabinets, bookshelves, he kicked holes into the walls, punched holes into the doors. At his moment of emotional weakness, he was wrecking ball. After hours of his destruction of his only home, he sat amongst the destruction, caring to his wounds, cleaning off the blood from his hands. He sat hopelessly in his destroyed home for some time before getting up and packing the few things of his he didn’t destroy and leaving.
He walked for hours on the street, stopping into a liquor store once and buying a bottle of rum and stumbling outside, continuing on his aimless walk. Each time he took of sip of rum, the more clouded his mind became, the less thoughtful he became. Soon enough he collapsed in an alleyway, in his drunken state he wasn’t aware of the danger her was in. Silently a vampire pounced on him, biting into him none too nicely. The vampire drank Lewis’ blood and stopped before entirely draining his body. Lewis was oblivious to the pain in his drunken state, emotionally numb, shutting out every memory of his god father’s death.
When Lewis awoke he realized something was different. He felt thirsty, not for a human liquid, but for blood. The vampire that had changed him nowhere to be found. For some time that day he was alone in a abandoned warehouse. With a few hours to himself, Lewis tried to wrap his head around what had happened to him. He didn’t remember anything, a lot of things were fuzzy or vague, like they had been pushed to the back of his mind and out of sight. As the sun began to set, another vampire entered the warehouse, Lewis’ creator.
Upon seeing his new born vampire awake, Ares quickly fed his new born blood. Introducing Lewis to his new life, teaching him a few things about the vampiric life. Over the century, Lewis trained to grow his vampire abilities, controlling certain traits. Lewis began his new life as a vampire.

PLAY BY: Ryan Gosling
The Personality
LIKES:
- acting
- having fun
- joking around
- company
- motorcycles
- pushing limits
-sneaking into places he shouldn't be in the first place
- music
- learning new things
- girls
- flirting around
DISLIKES:
- Aro, he won't admit it, but Aro scares him
- Human blood, he dislikes the smell because it's addictive and he doesn't like feeding on humans
- Most of the Volturi, let's face it who doesn't dislike them besides themselves?
- not being around others of his kind
- not knowing anything
- being wrong
- his parents even though they're long gone
- that his god father died
- being a vampire
- backstabbers, liers, cheaters, and fake people
-
STRENGTHS:
- Lewis has the ability of acting, both in real life and on stage. He can pretend like everything is okay when it's not, and the ability to lie exceptionally well in dangerous/tight situations.
- Lewis is very confident, he put's himself out there but not entirely so that people find out he's a vampire. He won't compromise himself for others, he won't let you change his values, himself as a person/vampire.
- Lewis is mentally and also physically strong, rarely does he let his emotions take control of his actions. Lewis is does well under pressure and more often than not will he take a 'challenge'
- He is extremely resourceful, he has his ways of getting things, and a way of doing things his own way.
- He is really good at keeping secrets hidden and locked away, he is also very good at hiding what he really feels and a lot of other things.
WEAKNESSES:
- Lewis can come off as arrogant, partly due to the time, and where he was born. He is a bit of a show off and won't hesitate to show others of his kind his abilities.
- Lewis is not the one to take too kindly to people who judge others by their appearance. He's learned that there's more behind a person than on the surface.
- Lewis is extremely stubborn, no matter how hard you might try to get him to do things, if he doesn't want to he won't do it. So trying to convince him to things he doesn't want to is a lost cause.
QUIRKS/HABITS:
- sneaking in; yes it's a habit, he get's curious so he almost always have to sneak into places so he can end the curiosity inside him
- breathing/blinking; i bet most vampires do this out of habit and so humans don't know what they really are, lewis isn't any different but he likes breathing and blinking, it makes him feel more human than vampire.
- quoting people; after so many years studying in drama and theater he still hasn't lost that habit. He especially loves quoting old plays from his time.
FEARS:
- second death; he doesn't want to be a vampire but he also doesn't want to die again, he figures it worse dying a vampire than dying a human so he just chooses to live with it
- being alone; he has separation anxiety, he can't stand not being with/around people for a long period of time. he really wants to find a mate, he's almost always been alone except when his god father took him in
- the volturi; because every vampire does, mainly because they all have that cold, emotionless glare and because they can provide a quick instant death, not to mention a very painful one
- not being happy; he can get really depressive at times, he thinks he's never going to be happy and he's really scared of living centuries like that.
SECRETS:
- secretly engaged; Lewis was secretly engaged around the time his parents kicked him out, the girl ended up dying from sickness, but since that the engagement was a secret he never mentioned it no matter how much he hurt.
-
FULL LENGTH PERSONALITY:
Lewis mostly is a goofy kind of person, he's also a hopeless romantic, so his friends have told him. Lewis was the type of guy to be known to fall hard for a girl, he was always romantic and very sweet towards girls, he was a perfect gentlemen. He loves to laugh and joke around especially around his friends. He really is a kid at heart.
Lewis has that way of looking completely innocent when he's been mischievous or did something wrong. He loves to play pranks, and has been known to get under people's skin. Despite this, he is also very serious, he can come off extremely arrogant and somewhat of a prick to others who can't tell what he is and from when he was born.
He is a very loyal, friendly person. He isn't the type make enemies with you first. He doesn't see it that way. A lot of the times, his inner child takes over and that's mainly the reason why he's easy to get along with. He is also very protective of those he loves, he isn't the type to stand back and watch his friendsfamily get hurt, he's a fighter, not a watcher.

SAMPLE POST:
“Lewis, never give up hope, never give up on the weak, they are always stronger than they seem…” With his dying breath, Lewis’ god father said his last goodbye and passed on. Lewis sat dejectedly in the room as the doctor pulled the sheet over his face, the priest saying prayers to God before they carried the body away.
A seemingly never ending grief washed over Lewis, rage and pain building up inside of him. Lewis let loose like a ticking time bomb, destroying everything in his path. Angry tears fell from his eyes as he punched through walls and doors, toppling over book cases and china cabinets, knocking photographs off the walls. The only sounds filling the desolate house, were the sounds of rage, pain, grief, and destruction. Recklessness washed over the poor grieving man, blinding every logical thought, taking over his actions.
Lewis didn’t feel the cuts he got on his hands as he punched the glass windows or the mirrors, the warm blood trickling over his knuckles. Crash! Lewis threw glass plates on the floor, he threw cups and wine glasses at the walls. Lewis tore up the curtains, and broke furniture. Lewis in all his rage and grief felt invincible, he felt like an explosion that was finally let loose to tear everything up. Lewis was wild, and he was terrifying.
Finally stopping his destruction, he looked around hopelessly like a lost puppy. He was still somewhat of a boy, not quit yet a men but not a child either. Weak, was what Lewis thought of himself at that moment. Realizing he has inflicted numerous cuts on his hands, he went to the wash off the blood, putting ointment and wrapping his hands up in a clean cloth. He sank into a chair he hadn’t got to destroy, putting his head back and sighed a heavy sigh. Closing his eyes, memories flashed in his mind, mostly of his god father, some of old friends and his biological parents, not good ones of them.
Lewis sat up, covering his face with his hands, then ran his fingers through his hair before getting up and quickly walking towards his room. He looked around for a minute, then grabbed his bag, throwing clothes into it, a book or two, his journals and his jacket, he grabbed his cap before walking out, leaving the house forever.
Lewis walked the streets aimlessly, hours passed by where he would just walk, he was numb to feeling except for pain and rage. He was reckless tonight, and he would do anything to escape the pain. Lewis walked into a bar (or liquor store, it’s New York), buying a bottle of rum and then walking out, every now and then taking a swig of it out of the bottle, increasingly loosing focus and train of thought. Lewis was stupid, he was letting emotions take over his actions without some type of regret or guilt in his mind.
“Everything happens to me, maybe I’m just not meant to be happy with life.” Lewis thought to himself, driving himself deeper into despair. In his drunken state, Lewis was very clumsy, he collapsed in a dark alley, somewhat conscious, a pale figure leaning over him. Lewis passed out, barely feeling the venom course through his veins. When he awoke, he would entering a whole new life…the life of a vampire.
