FULL LENGTH PERSONALITY:
David’s primary mode of living is focused externally, where he deal with things rationally and logically. His secondary mode is internal, where you take things in primarily via your intuition.
David is a natural born leader. He lives in a world of possibilities where he sees all sort challenges to be surmounted, and he wants to be the one responsible for surmounting them. He has a drive for leadership, which is well-served by his quickness to grasp complexities, his ability to absorb a large amount of impersonal information, and his quick and decisive judgments. He is a "take charge" person.
David is very career-focused, and fits into the corporate world quite naturally. He is constantly scanning his environment for potential problems which he can turn into solutions. He generally sees things from a long-range perspective, and is usually successful at identifying plans to turn problems around - especially problems of a corporate nature. David is usually successful in the business world, because he is so driven to leadership. He’s tireless in his efforts on the job, and is driven to visualize where an organization is headed. For these reasons, he is natural corporate leaders.
There is not much room for error in the world of David. He dislikes seeing mistakes repeated, and has no patience with inefficiency. He may become quite harsh when his patience is tried in these respects, because he is not naturally tuned in to people's feelings, and more than likely doesn't believe that he should tailor his judgments in consideration for people's feelings. David has difficulty seeing things from outside his own perspective. David naturally has little patience with people who do not see things the same way as he does. David needs to consciously work on recognizing the value of other people's opinions, as well as the value of being sensitive towards people's feelings. In the absence of his awareness, David will be forceful, intimidating and overbearing individual. This may be a real problem for David, who may be deprived of important information and collaboration from others. In his personal world, it can make David overbearing as spouses or parents.
David has a tremendous amount of personal power and presence which will work for him as a force towards achieving his goals. However, this personal power is also an agent of alienation and self-aggrandizement, which David would do well to avoid.
David is very forceful, decisive individuals. He makes decisions quickly, and is quick to verbalize his opinions and decisions to the rest of the world. David may have brilliant ideas and insight into situations, but he may have little skill at determining how to act upon his understanding, or his actions may be inconsistent. David has developed in a generally less than ideal way may become dictatorial and abrasive - intrusively giving orders and direction without a sound reason for doing so, and without consideration for the people involved, that is if he doesn’t keep himself in check.
David is not naturally tuned into other people's feelings, but he frequently has a very strong sentimental streak. Often these sentiments are very powerful to David, although he will likely hide it from general knowledge, believing the feelings to be a weakness. Because the world of feelings and values is not where David naturally functions, he may sometimes make value judgments and hold onto submerged emotions which are ill-founded and inappropriate, and will cause him problems - sometimes rather serious problems.
David loves to interact with people. He can be energized and stimulated primarily externally. There's nothing more enjoyable and satisfying to David than having a lively, challenging conversation. He especially respects people who are able to stand up to him, and argues persuasively for their point of view. There aren't too many people who will do so, however, because David has a very forceful and dynamic presence who has a tremendous amount of self-confidence and excellent verbal communication skills. Even the most confident individuals may experience moments of self-doubt when debating a point with David.
David puts a lot of effort and enthusiasm into his relationships. Since his major quest in life is to constantly take in knowledge and turn that into something useful, he will try to turn everything into a learning experience. Within the context of relationships, that means he will constantly seek knowledge and revise the rules and definitions of his relationships. He values his relationships highly, especially those relationships which present him with new challenges and stimulate his learning. Such exchanges promote genuine affection and satisfaction for David. Relationships which do not offer any chances for growth or learning does not hold any interest David. As in other areas of life, David likes to be in charge of his relationships. In conversation,David is very direct and confrontational, and can be highly critical and challenging towards others. People involved in close relationships with David needs to have a good amount of personal strength. For those who do, David has a tremendous amount to offer.
David is not naturally in-tune with the feelings and emotions of his partners. David sometimes does not make the attempt to be aware of others, and to value their feelings and opinions, and thus may find himself in unbalanced relationships, where real communication does not take place. These kinds of situations present a two-edged sword to David. They want to be in charge, but if he becomes so much in charge as to stifle his partners, he will eventually become bored with the relationship.
Romantically, David is robust, imaginative and enthusiastic. His natural instinct to lead will be apparent in this arena as well as other areas of life, and he will lead his partner on creative lovemaking adventures, where the focus is on mutual learning and affection sharing. He's likely to expect romance on a relatively scheduled basis.
David does not usually have a problem with self-confidence and is not especially emotionally needy. Although he enjoys being told that he is loved and appreciated, he doesn't need to hear these types of avowals as often as most other males. If he is partnered with a Feeling type female, he is probably not likely to fulfill his partner's needs for intimate words without conscious effort. Even with effort, David may have problems being aware of other's emotional needs, and he most likely won't understand those needs even if he is aware of them.
David approaches conflict as an opportunity for growth and learning. This is a very healthy outlook in general, but may be a problem in a close relationship with a his girlfriends. David’s tends to be confrontational may be very threatening to a person especially so if they are an intimate partner of the him. In general, David has a lot to offer to his intimate relationships. FULL LENGTH HISTORY:
During the 7th century, a royal family ruled over all of East Anglia. The house of Val'Lauren was the main source of governmental power in the region, which is now present day Greater London, Essex, Hertfordshire, Beds, Cambridgshire, Suffolk, and Norfolk . He was the second born son of the royal family. David was born into a Christian educated family and was promptly baptized soon after he was born. Though many in the region were still pagan, both religions seemed to dwell in a tense harmony during his father's rule. At the age of three, David's father was killed during a battle with a neighboring kingdom. His older brother quickly assumed kingship with a number of advisers to help him rule over his kingdom until he was of age. When at last Ealdwulf came of age, he took full control of the kingdom that had been birthright to rule. David was cast off to the side until a spark created political turmoil. Pagan's and Christian's in the small kingdom began to declare war upon one another, a small amount of blood was spilled before the mess was addressed. Ealdwulf sent David to see the control of the situation, which he found relatively easily. He simply placed extended family members at the head of the largest and most influential religious houses. With trusted and controllable pawns in place, David was able to have the fighting cease before any serious blood baths were started. Of course, this made for a glorious reputation for Ealdwulf, and secured further patronage from the religious houses, which in turn strengthened his rule.
Having shown his more than capable political prowess, David was further recognized by his brother as a legitimate Prince of East Anglia (having been born far younger made David seem worthless in Ealdwulf eyes). Along with that title, David became a sort of diplomat for East Anglia. By the time he was sent off for his first assignment, he was just beyond the age of 18. In that year alone he was sent off nearly a dozen times to ease tensions with the surrounding nations. The next few years were slower than the first, David's quick and manipulative thinking having snared the other nations into a trap that left a heavy flow of their commerce coming through the East Anglia capital of Gipeswic, which today is Ipswich. That small trap lead to a long period of stability and growth for the entire country, which made Ealdwulf that much more powerful. Shortly after David turned 22, he was sent off once more on a diplomacy mission, this time to the far south of the kingdom he called home. However, this time, he did not return home.
Having found himself in one of the major trading cities of the southern lands, he found the royal family and sought to carry out his mission, attempting to also gain their allegiance as well as trading rights. But he was distracted by a woman at court, a gorgeous woman whom he only saw when court gathered at night. During one court meeting, David was able to come into contact with this woman. She spoke eloquently and was able to perk David's interest. After many nights of skipping court and roaming the surrounding countryside with the woman, who had revealed her name to be Edith, he had been called back to explain himself. David never made an appearance for his summons. During one night of wandering along the hillside, Edith attacked David. Overcome by the need to feed, she had attacked him from behind, he stood no chance of defending himself. She drained him of nearly all his blood and forced him to drink her own. After the pain sub-sided from what felt like a slumber that lasted a lifetime, David was informed by Edith, who had been at his bedside the entire time, what he was. Being told that he now had immense strength and speed, the kind of power only is bestowed upon the gods of men. With the hunger for power coursing through his veins, David left his homeland with Edith at his side for Gaul, where he went on a year long power trip, killing travelers along the Rhine, honing his new found skills and powers.
They were stuck out in the wilderness, the only contact that they had beyond one another was with the foolish travelers that they encountered and fed upon and killed. David was the first to grow bored with his close to domestic life with his maker and lover Edith. He itched to return to the city, to even return to his home and perhaps see his family, but Edith managed to keep him around with her charm. For years following, they moved around mainland Europe, never staying in one town for too long before moving to another. They were nomads for hundreds of years, no place interesting enough to keep them settled. Of course, once Charlemagne was crowned and declared Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire, David insisted on settling there, at least for a little while. The massive libraries erected by the noble Emperor were like feasts for David. He was able to fill his mind with the kind of knowledge he thirsted for. The need for blood took a backseat for nearly a decade as he became comfortable in his rather luxurious living in the Holy Roman Empire. But all did not sit well with Edith, she had grown accustomed to moving, to always having her fill and hunting with David, who would rather sit by the fire the nights he was awake and read. They did not move from their home in the Holy Roman empire until the Normans invaded England. David left as soon as he could, bringing Edith along with him. It was the last adventure he would have with her, during one of the Norman raids on one of the northern coastal towns they were staying in, Edith was killed. Her head and been severed from her body by the swing of an axe that had been swung by a horsemen and then she was torched.
With Edith having met the true death, David put avoided human civilization. He see a human for nearly four hundred years, making himself "visible" in time to witness the rise of the Tudor Dynasty. Seeing a golden opportunity, David inserted himself as a high ranking noble into Henry VII of England's court. Having missed the War of Roses, David was able to display his diplomatic and political skills during Henry VII reign. He proved to be a very reliable counselor, insisting that Henry focus on creating a stable and wealthy nation and not foolishly wasting his time by attempting to seize back French controlled lands that had one been held by his ancestors. David effectively served all of the Tudors who reigned, most notably Henry VIII. during the Protestant reformation and the liquidation of many of the Catholic Monasteries, it was David who lead the bloodiest of raids. When the king needed someone removed silently from the politics of England, David was the solution, he managed to effectively take down anyone who posed a threat to his own political power as well as the kings. Unlike some of the King's court, David was able to maintain a high favor with the king. when he passed and the fight for the throne began, David did not leap at the opportunity, instead, he watched the turmoil unfold and consume the nation. He watched as humans turned on one another in the name of faith. Catholics killed Protestants, and Protestants ripped the Catholic's apart when they had the opportunity. Unable to resist the blood being spilled, David allowed himself to feast and get his blood lust satisfied, to allow himself to divulge in rather barbaric actions, one consisting of ripping a woman in her house from limb to limb and practically bathing in her blood.
Once more being able to play both sides of the fence, David halted his rather hideous behavior once Elizabeth became Queen. The next five decades following, David served the Queen dutifully as an adviser and as a type of bodyguard. Several people wanted the Queen dead, and seeing as he was able to stay up during the long hours of the night, he stood in protective watch over her, often times talking about the situations afoot. Once she passed and James I rose to power, David stayed there for only a few short years before moving away. When he arrived where he wanted, he found that the nation of France was on the verge of revolution. Unable to resist the political game being set up, or the blood that was promised to be spilled, David hurriedly placed himself among the ranks of the Jacobin's. Maximilian Robespierre proved to be a capable leader and revolutionary, he was able to have the king thrown from his throne and decapitated, effectively ripping apart the monarchy. However, as David took out his opponents during the Reign of Terror, it was obvious that Robespierre was becoming unhinged. Seeing yet another obstacle in his way to gaining even more influence, he, along with many other Jacobin's, responded and sent Robespierre to meet the guillotine. Soon after Napoleon took charge and declared himself Emperor of France. Finding Napoleon's megalomania quite entertaining, David took a back seat and watched him as he rampaged over Europe, conquering lands in the name of the Enlightenment. to David, the French Revolution was just a game, a game of risk and chance and skill, which kept him quite entertained until Napoleon's banishment and death.
Having made Europe his stomping ground, David sought new venues in which to entertain himself with, and he found such a place in the newly birthed United States of America. The system of government was new to David, a system that took in a few years to learn and get the hang of before he was able to once more starting being able to pull the strings. He found himself nestled among the high class, fitting in like he had once before. It was there David remained until the 1870's. As Otto von Bismarck started to set up the strings of his finely tuned instrument, David found himself drawn once more to the wonderful game that Bismarck had set up, quite in a way that David would've himself. As Bismarck began to play Europe like a three dollar banjo, David was right beside him, absolutely reveling in enjoyment that he had found a mortal with the political prowess that he had obtained after centuries of being around. though, once he was fired and Bismarck lost what power he had, David then left and headed back to America, finding his spot once more. As the 1930's rolled around, David found himself in Germany once more, unable to fight of the want for opportunity in the new, ripe, National Socialist Germany. Without hesitation, David joined the Nazi ranks and climbed the ladder towards the top. He only got so far before the war started and David's eyes were diverted from the political to the military aspect of it all. He promptly joined the SS and rose to the rank of major. With the power that he had, David was able to do as he pleased, he had his fill of carnage for the century as he murdered whomever he pleased. Seeing that the war was coming to an end, David easily made himself vanish.
So these many years later David had been tracked and watched by the Volturi and it was finally here he was asked to join them due to his powers and intelligence. He joined it and had made quite a few enemies and friends in the Volturi swiftly.
