Seven hundred years ago, four of the strongest leaders of their species made a treaty after a bloody war for land that started since the creation of time. They were the Magicians, the nymphs, the fae, and the elves.
From that day, the land was divided evenly to share for the kingdom, it became the Reign of Four; Selite from the nymphs, that dominated the east; Auston that took the land and the sea; Ellimeria, they occupied the forest of Beorn; and Uraban, who took the shady north, overshadowed by the mountains.
For about 5000 years, the land was relatively quiet.
That is, until the Fae discovered that nymphs' skin could be used to make fine leather, they blood that runs deep in their marrow can heal even the worse would, and at times, even from death; and their hair could be used to make a smooth and expensive type of fabric.
And so, the hunt was on, and war engulfed the both of them, with the elves backing them. The magicians were rather uninterested in the war and the value of the nymphs, but they wanted some of the Beorn forest, finding it a potential war spot for military uses.
200 years later, the war was still at it, but now there was a new species that wandered in, the faeries and witches and wizards. The faries were welcomed by the elves for their charms and looks, but the urgals were another story. They were wicked, vile, and have many rude things to say to the nymphs.
They weren't into Uraban and stormed the capital, taking over the kingdom immediately. They promptly wasted no time and declared war on the remaining three.
Half of the Kingdom of Auston turned around and allied with the Selite and other half stayed with Uraban, despite the change in leaders.
Meanwhile, Bil il Selite, the only prince of Selite and detined for the throne soon as he comes of age, falls for the princess, 'Spiritus' from the Auston Empire. Even though they are well aware of all the things they have heard, they couldn't help but be interested in each other and learning more about each other.
Can their new friendship bond the two rivals together? And even if they could, can the last two (and a half) kingdom defeat the new empress? Or would she take over all of the land?
